Preschool Prep

If your child is three years old, they are ready for the Young Scholars Academy Preschool Prep program. This program is the pathway to our preschool classroom. The atmosphere is structured and routine, promoting self-help skills, independence, and mastering the potty. Our carefully curated and experienced educators will create a learning environment with age-appropriate problem-solving activities that promote growth, development, and creativity. Following the Kaplan Curriculum of Learn Every Day®, our classrooms are divided into learning centers encouraging children to engage in hands-on activities and learn to work cooperatively in a group.

Fostering Learning

Three-year-olds are growing leaps and bounds when it comes to verbal, physical, social, and comprehension skills. They achieve many milestones at this age, and we incorporate this growth into each day’s activities, helping your child succeed in their school readiness journey.

Children can concentrate on tasks for extended periods and begin to understand sharing, taking turns, and interacting with their peers. They also recognize the importance of manners. Our skilled teachers will organize small group instruction allowing for personalized learning experiences and the development of new social and cognitive skills.

Imagination and Wonder

The imagination of a three-year-old is always at work. Each child can observe or participate in activities at their pace in our preschool prep classroom. Our talented teachers recognize the importance of nurturing development and understand that not every child moves at the same speed, whether due personality, or physical ability.

Our staff understands all the factors that can contribute to or inhibit a child’s love of learning. We ensure that our classrooms are warm and inviting and that each area serves a purpose. We balance structure and routine with opportunities for exploration and discovery. Our classrooms offer a secure and comfortable environment to engage in activities and social experiences that inspire critical thinking and social cooperation.
